HOPES AND WISHES of THE PRESIDENT-ELECT (2008-2009)
Being re-elected as the President for a second term in a row, Assoc Prof Dr Kamil Md Idris was indeed grateful for the trust given to him by the members. He stressed that PERSATU will continue to actively participate and get involved in all activities that are still pending, be they at the university or local levels. He pointed out that PERSATU will continue its commitment and pledge to work closely together with the management of UUM towards achieving the goals and objectives of the university and PERSATU itself. For that matter, continuous support from members, in all types and forms, is indeed crucial. He also congratulated the new Exco line up for being elected and wished that they could work effectively as a team in materialising PERSATU’s objectives
